Clinical Trials Q & A

Clinical trials are research studies designed to evaluate new treatments for neurological conditions. Our practice participates in Phase 2, 3 and 4 trials, meaning these treatments have already been through protocols testing for safety and effectiveness. Participants receive close monitoring and access to innovative therapies that are not yet widely available.

We currently have access to clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Migraine, and other neurological conditions. Our research team continuously evaluates new opportunities to expand treatment options for our patients. Click here to see what trials we are enrolling in now.

Clinical trial eligibility is determined through a thorough evaluation by our team. If we believe an active trial aligns with your condition and treatment needs, we will discuss the details with you and work with our research partners to explore enrollment.

Patient safety is our top priority. Phase 2-4 trials have already undergone rigorous testing in earlier phases to establish safety and effectiveness. Participants receive close medical supervision throughout the study, and our team ensures that the trial is in your best interest before recommending participation.

By participating in a trial, you may gain access to new and promising treatments that could improve your condition before they are widely available. Additionally, your involvement contributes to the advancement of neurology, helping future patients receive better care.

No, clinical trials are typically funded by research organizations, and participation is free of charge. In many cases, study-related medical care and treatments are covered. Our team will provide all necessary details regarding coverage and potential reimbursement for travel expenses if applicable.

If you are interested in exploring clinical trial opportunities, speak with your provider at Grove Neurology. We will assess your eligibility and guide you through the next steps if a trial is a good fit for you.
