There is a song by Tina Turner.......Simply The Best...... I travel an hour to see him and sometimes 2 to get home.....if it was more than that I would..... I was referred to Dr Lerman by a very good friend of mine...... I saw a doctor in NY and at the time I traveled back to NY from Florida to see him...... he retired a few years ago.....
Great Doctor, Horrible Office Dr. Lerman is a fantastic doctor, but unfortunately, the office staff leaves much to be desired. My experience began with a phone call the day before my appointment to confirm the time. I was clearly told 9:30 am. Arriving 15 minutes early, I settled in the waiting room. After an hour had passed, I inquired about the delay. To my surprise, I was informed that my appointment was actually scheduled for 10:15 am. This disregard for my time was incredibly frustrating. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned and offered no apology for the miscommunication. It felt as though they held little regard for my schedule or the inconvenience caused. While I deeply appreciate Dr. Lerman's expertise, the office's inefficiency and lack of respect for patients' time make it difficult to continue as a patient. I am actively seeking a new doctor who can provide both excellent care and a well-managed office environment. Worst part after waiting for 1.5 hrs I didn’t get to see Dr Lerman
(Translated by Google) I received very professional and friendly attention from all the staff, especially Dr. (Original) Tuve una atención muy profesional y muy afable todo el personal, sobre todo el Dr

Dr. Lerman is a wonderful doctor to my husband and I. He explains everything in great detail and takes his time listening. I pleased with how patient he is with my husband who has early unset of Dementia.
Horribly run practice. Expect hour plus wait times, unhelpful front desk. My first visit here I arrived 20 minutes early, couldn't find parking, arrived 10 minutes late and tried to call to let them know I was running late but no answer. When I arrived they tried to tell me because I was 10 min late I would have to come back another time. Only after I was in tears from driving an hour, they finally agreed to let me see the doctor. I then waited for him. Why not just be helpful from the start, instead I had to get so upset before they would help me. I recently ran out of a prescription for epilepsy meds, I requested a new one and the office refused to refill it because I hadn't seen the doctor in a year. They had not contacted me to have me schedule a yearly appointment, nor had they told me that I needed an appointment every year. I have taken this medication for ten years, my old doctor always wrote refills and I didn't need to see him annually. This is not a controlled substance, there is no reason for me to be seen yearly. I then spent 30 min on the phone, again in tears because they refused to refill it. Without it I would have a seizure, but they do not seem to care about your health, only about scheduling you for appointments so they can make money. Finally they agreed to refill it. Why don't they just help from the start? They do not seem to care about their patient's health. I have a telehealth appointment and have been waiting for well over an hour. If you have a job or any life outside of waiting for a doctor, I do not recommend going here. The doctor is fine but the entire experience is so upsetting I do not recommend this place. The office is then combative if you express any frustration. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
