Dr.Lerman saw my dad yesterday and I absolutely loved him. However, his office staff is very incompetent. I gave them all my dad's documentation which included his medicaid card. They never told me at the time of the appointment that they never accepted it and my dad would be responsible for the 20%. More so, they scheduled him today (the day right after his appointment) for a nerve exam and never once bothered to tell me (in person nor with a phone call) that he would have to pay the 20%. My dad is on a fixed income and cannot afford this. The office manager needs to get it right, first it was that my dad didn't meet his deductible and then it was that they didn't accept Medicaid. I'm very disappointed. I guess I'm going to have to change neurologist for him after just one visit. I'm very disappointed. 😔

The "customer service" that this office provides, is terrible. The person who answers the phone is somewhat rude. I called to make an appointment, I waited on the line when they answered me they asked for my date of birth and they hung up on the call, other times they transferred me to an extension that is not for appointments, they transferred me again and I was last on the line... like this for an hour. I have heard very good things about this doctor, but the people who answer the phone are not friendly, very bad customer service.
I found Dr. Lerman very knowledgeable & patiently listened to all my issues. I also liked that he is knowledgeable with new treatments that are in the pipeline for various neurological problems.
Great people and great Doctor.
